Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of Georgia Sewer Guide (georgiasewer.com), operated by Toma Tomov, an individual in the State of Georgia, United States. By using the site you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Information, not professional advice

The site is informational. The guides explain sewer and drain problems, cleaning and repair methods, and related Georgia rules in general terms. They are not plumbing, engineering, legal, medical, insurance, financial or other professional advice, and they can't account for the condition of your pipes, your utility's current rules or the terms of your insurance policy or lease. Codes, utility rules, laws and prices change and vary by location. Confirm anything important with your utility, a licensed plumber, your insurer or an attorney before you act. You are responsible for the decisions you make, and the operator is not liable for decisions based only on the site's content. See the Disclaimer.

3. Safety

Sewage, drain chemicals, sewer gases, electricity near water and excavation can all cause serious injury or illness. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for any product or tool, use the protective equipment the official sources describe, and stop and call a licensed professional, your utility or emergency services when a guide says to or when you are unsure. Nothing on the site asks you to do work that requires a license you don't hold.

4. No service, no referrals

The operator is not a plumbing, drain cleaning or septic company. The site doesn't perform, schedule, quote or refer service, and it doesn't vouch for any business, including any business shown in an advertisement. Any agreement you make with a contractor is between you and that contractor.

5. Our content

The text, design and code of this site belong to the operator, except for material credited to others and the trademarks of their owners. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with a link back. Don't copy whole guides, republish the site's content, or scrape it in bulk without written permission.

6. Acceptable use

Don't interfere with the site or its security, overload it with automated requests, or try to access anything that is not publicly offered.

7. Links and advertising

The site links to other websites, including government agencies and utilities, and shows ads served by Google. We don't control those sites or ads and aren't responsible for their content, products or practices. An ad on this site is not an endorsement.

8. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that following a guide will fix a problem, prevent damage, satisfy an inspector or lead to an insurance or utility claim being paid.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for property damage, repair costs, lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use the site (which is nothing) or US $50.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email tomov@gmx.com with the subject “DMCA notice” and include:

  3. the address (URL) of the material on this site;
  4. your name, mailing address, phone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

We will review valid notices promptly and remove or disable infringing material. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
